Fry-Days

Today I thought of a great idea! I'm going to meet up with some friends and make some all-natural, homemade, french fries! Not only is it a great way to be socially active but as long as the fries are made correctly you also get a delicious snack out of it that can be customized to people's tastes and preferences. As a proud Irishman, potatoes are without a doubt one of my favorite vegetables. They can be prepared in a wide variety of ways, but as long as you avoid using large amounts of fats, oils, and sodium during preparation they also have many health benefits as well. Potatoes are good sources of potassium, copper, vitamin C, manganese, phosphorus, niacin, dietary fiber, and pantothenic acid, as well as multiple phytonutrients. Phytonutrients work as antioxidants, meaning they helps prevent cell damage caused by free radicals called oxidants.

  1. First, I just want to say how clever the title for this post is, it grabbed my attention because I wanted to see what the post was about. This was a great post. It was very informative about the nutrition facts of potatoes. I did not know all of those facts, which I thought was awesome. I also liked the way you related it back to social health. Finally, I really liked the way you explained the big word so that people reading this could actually understand what you were talking about.
